“I can’t recommend Courtney enough! She helped us through the adoption process from start to finish including ICPC and a very challenging and unhelpful birth parent lawyer. She advocated for us and reassured us throughout the entire process. She went above and beyond more times than I can count. She even set everything up for us in the sending state since that attorney refused. She did so many things to ensure a successful adoption and met every deadline along the way. She’s extremely responsive via email and just wonderful to work with. I recommend Courtney to every potential adoptive parent I can. Courtney was great! I would recommend her to anyone looking for a competent, professional, and affordable adoption attorney. While our case was relatively straightforward, the pandemic times made it delayed. Courtney was able to stay on our case to make sure there was a timely submission of our paperwork and for our finalization hearing. She was friendly and responsive with communications and I would love to work with her again!

“My wife and I are foster parents and in the course of our fostering, we made a connection with a family who asked us to adopt their newborn son. Since this was a private adoption outside of the foster care system, we had no idea where to turn for an attorney and we feared we would never be able to afford the expense. After reaching out to several family attorneys and being discouraged by outrageous fees, phone calls not being returned, and conflicting advice on how best to proceed, our adoption agency recommended Courtney. Our experience with her has been amazing. She was quick to respond to texts and emails, is extremely knowledgeable about the adoption process and was able to answer all of our questions, and her rates were much more reasonable than the other attorneys we had spoken to.
